TDX COLLAB by Function Store & TheTouchLab
TDXCollab

Beta terms

Version 2, 26 October 2026. These terms are Function Store's own promises, in plain language; they are not legal advice.

Short version: as a beta tester you let TDXCollab keep a log of your sessions on your computer and send us a report when something goes wrong, so we can fix it; you can see what goes, switch the automatic part off, and leave at any time. The general terms and the privacy page still apply.

Function Store's to publish and stand behind. It is not legal advice and no lawyer has reviewed it; the promises in it (where reports go, 7 days, deletion on request) were confirmed by the operator on 2026-10-26. The published page is website/terms/beta/ (generated from this file). When it is published, put its address in TERMS_URL and raise TERMS_V in scripts/TDXCollab/CollabReport.py whenever the meaning changes; every tester then accepts again.

What this is

The TDXCollab beta is private. By switching on Beta Tester in TDXCollab you agree to the following, for as long as it stays on.

What TDXCollab does on your computer

What leaves your computer

Other people's work

The shared zone is worked on by everyone in the session. A log of your session contains what your partners did and their names. That is why the end of the log is attached only while everyone present is a beta tester who accepted these terms, and you see it before it goes. By taking part you agree that your own work and name may appear in logs your partners send.

Your tag and your data

Leaving

Switch Auto Report off to stop reports going by themselves, or Beta Tester off to stop them altogether (both on the Customize page). Nothing more is collected for the beta; the log file stays on your computer until you delete it. Reports already sent stay with us for at most 7 days, under your tag.

Not covered by these terms

Send Diagnostics (anonymous problem signatures, on by default, one notice) is separate and describes itself in its notice; it never carries your tag, a name or a value.

Signing up

Applying on the beta page is separate from switching Beta Tester on: it gives us your email so we can send you the build and write to you about the beta, and nothing else. What the sign-up stores and for how long is on the privacy page (Beta sign-ups). Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.
